The Committee on Health and Human Resources moved to amend the bill on page 1, section 12, line 14 after the word "nutrition" by changing the period to a colon and inserting the following proviso: Provided, That within one year of initial licensure, a licensee shall complete  continuing medical education requirements in nutrition as set forth by the board in rules: Provided, however, That as a prerequisite of license renewal a licensee shall complete continuing medical education requirements in nutrition as set forth by the board in rules. Once a licensee has satisfied the continuing medical education requirements in nutrition upon initial licensure or upon renewal, a licensee has no further obligation to complete continuing medical education in nutrition as required in this subsection.;

And
